I put my skin in the game when I take on a search. I am investing my time and energy which, as a business owner, means my livelihood is on the line. I take this seriously, but am always good for a laugh.
In order for me to be happy I have to make my client happy. Thus I am determined to deliver the goods.
I continue to hone my craft in order to offer value to both the candidates I represent and the companies I serve. Top talent is not a commodity, and I resist the forces that pretend it is. My client's believe people make the difference to any endeavor. So do I.
I am well-networked globally, allowing me to provide people who make a bottom line difference to companies who seek continuous improvement and who value the people who deliver it.
I provide project consultants or direct-hire employees. I can also create a customized strategic sourcing program for both.
I listen.I have to understand what my clients want and need, in order to deliver it. I've been told my perspective often is instrumental in helping them figure it out.
I have earned the right to be known as tenacious, determined and persistent. I pay attention to people and nuances, and I deliver - both to companies seeking talent and to candidates looking for optimal opportunities. I care about recruiting as an industry, and love nothing more than to share best practices with my peers in order to lift us all up. I believe there should be less stupid recruiter stories.
