Director of Marketing at TLC Innovations
Ontario, Canada
As a corporate marketer, I'm excited about the change in direction that marketing's taken in the last 5 years. It's refreshing to someone like me that's been devising and deploying corporate branding initiatives and competitive marketing strategies for CPG and B2B companies for over 15 years to have a new messaging platform to explore.
I recently accepted the position of Director of Marketing for TLC Innovations, Inc., makers of RealtySites PLUS, a SaaS business solution for Realtors, although I also still work as a freelance copywriter.
I've held key marketing positions with manufacturers of major brands of hand tools, paints and coatings, and aftermarket automotive parts, and have a pretty successful track record of national product, program and promotional launches with “big box” retailers, mass merchants, and major industrial distributors.
As a solutions and customer-focused professional, I can quickly evaluate and realign marketing initiatives for best results. I'm a proactive leader and coach, preferring to utilize employee talents and knowledge to get the job done right.
An additional feather in my cap is a contribution to "The Complete Idiot's Guide to Starting a Web-Based Business", authored by Steve Slaunwhite. I've also written several articles and blog posts, which have appeared throughout the web and have hopefully been read by thousands.
My education includes a diploma in Business Administration-Automotive Marketing, and I'm a member of American Writers & Artists Inc.
