Upon graduating from college in 1992, I spent six years in business working my way up from an answering service operator to an office administrator. The skills & experience I received through that time were valuable as I transitioned to the field of education, a field that I trained for originally. I then spent nine years as a teacher in both the public and private sectors. Even that experience has helped me to grow in my craft.
Recently, I served our viewing public and our station, WNCN NBC 17, as a liaison between the two. Cultivating relationships with members of the community in which I was charged helped our online product, MyNC.com to grow and prosper.
While I am no longer with WNCN, I know that I will take valuable and marketable skills that I have developed over the last two years with me to a position that continues to cultivate them.
