Filmmaker and entrepreneur with experience in screenwriting, directing, editing and music production.
Brief History
Interned at various recording studios, concert promotion companies and regional recording labels in the early 1990s to gain practical experience in various areas of entertainment industry.
Opened my own recording studio (Mission Control Recording) in 1996 where I oversaw everything from day-to-day operations and client scheduling to marketing campaigns and studio sessions. Mission Control grew to become one of the most popular studio/production companies in the DC/MD region, and from 1996 to 2004, I produced, recorded and mixed musical compositions for hundreds of clients.
During this time, I also wrote dozens of music video treatments for such artists as Lauryn Hill and Wyclef Jean.
In 2004, I closed the studio to pursue my film endeavors full-time, whereupon I launched The Creative Continuum and later, Cinema Rebels.
Current Projects Include:
Kamikazes: A Deathography: A feature film I wrote, directed and edited. Preparing for its release in April 2009.
The Mission (Reality Series Promo): A reality series presentation I wrote, directed and edited for a Washington, DC based production company. The presentation includes an official teaser, trailer and two 5-minute episodes. According to the project's executive producer, the presentation has been optioned and is making the rounds for a buyer.
Also developing a second feature film, a supernatural web-series and collaborating with several screenwriters on various projects.
