Lindsay Ginn’s Experience

  • Co-Founder

    The Demoiselles

    (Apparel & Fashion industry)

    March 2009Present (5 months)

Basically, we're three very differently shaped women who all have an interest in high quality fashion. So we've started a site (http://thedemoiselles.com) to help people (of all sizes) make sense of the whole "sizing" debacle that occurs in the process of buying clothes. We plan to purchase/acquire similar pieces of clothing, mostly surrounding current trends that people are curious about, and test them on each of our body types and report to our readers on the quality, shape, and versatility of the garment for our particular body types. We also plan on helping people sort out the "How do I wear this?" question that we get all the time from our readers. We're focusing on creating a very body-positive environment, allowing people to use clothes to enjoy their shape instead of wishing they looked different.
