Libby Carswell’s Summary

With 13+ years experience in various fields, I've developed a keen adaptability. As an administrative professional/sales support professional and customer specialist, I have supported a variety of different departments and groups; requiring me to be flexible in whatever environment I happen to be working. It has also been necessary for me to become adept at maneuvering through many different types of data and order entry programs throughout my career and am proficient in many software applications.

My amiable and open nature gives me an advantage when it comes to dealing with my colleagues and customers. Since I have a special knack for training others, I was selected as a main-level trainer in both of the last two positions I've held and had much success teaching others to do what I do.

As a non-traditional college student, I have spent the last two years continuing my education; with a focus on writing. I've written over 50 poems and several short stories. I was awarded first place for a personal essay in Brookhaven College's Writing Contest in the Spring of 2007 and am in the process of writing a fiction novel. One day, I plan to become a published writer. I am conversational, read and write in Spanish; and continue to work on improving my ability to communicate in Spanish more proficiently.

I am open to new experiences and would love to explore any opportunities presented to me for work, regardless of the industry or field.
