New Media Consultant and Community Catalyst with a Passion for Online Video
New Zealand
My name is Lewis Bostock. I'm a Public Speaker, Video Blogger, Citizen Journalist, Independent Filmmaker and Film Critic from the Hibiscus Coast, New Zealand.
I’m a Social Media Consultant and Community Catalyst with a passion for Web Video. I cut the cost of traditional marketing with alternative media that benefits small business.
I graduated from the University of Auckland with a Bachelor of Arts in Film, Television and Media Studies.
Social Media for Small Business and Creative Enterprise
Twitter, Facebook and LinkedIn are essential social networking tools that help you build large networks of ordinary people who share an active interest in your small business or creative enterprise.
However, it’s incredibly important to develop a strategy before you abandon old media. My intensive four-hour session is designed to develop a strategy for your small business or creative enterprise.
My Filmmaking
I directed a short film called Hey Beautiful. The story follows the budding relationship of a Morrinsville farmboy and a Remuera socialite, who connect once they analyze the homoerotic subtext in Top Gun.
Hey Beautiful had some relative success on You Tube when the film was featured on You Tube's front page in both Australia and New Zealand.
It’s gained 24,000+ views to date.
