As a Director, I was responsible for creating the company's first inside sales organization and designed and implemented the sales processes, technology, and quotas from scratch. I was the lead business owner for Hotmail's largest engineering initiative since Microsoft originally acquired it in 1997.
I led the product planning and business strategy for the complete redesign of the service which provided email services to over 200M consumers in over 30 languages. The redesign started after Gmail launched and included radically expanded storage, more reliable back end architecture, and completely new, more responsive Ajax front end.
