  As the Executive Director of JFS in Ulster County, NY (in the Hudson Valley), my role is to build this small yet vital agency into a larger and more comprehensive organization. I am working to create strong alliances across agencies both governmental, non-profit and for profit secular and religious. JFS serves people of all faiths in the community. Presently we are focused on serving the needs of the elderly and those who for health and other reasons need to receive evaluation and counseling services in their home, We work with both the client and the caregivers to relieve stress, enhance communication, provide case management services and be an early warning system for impending problems. I look to create a system wherein the basis of the relationships is complementary and utilizes the strengths of each individual member effectively and to serve the community in the most beneficial way possible, I am responsible for fundraising, program development, and employee oversight.
