As Product Manager, I manage the functional development of interactive experiences across the portfolio of Global websites and platforms.
Working on key brands such as 95.8 Capital FM, ClassicFM, Galaxy, and Heart through to the underlying core platforms like Global’s Content Management Engine, the role is very hands-on and supports the Head of Product Management in day-to-day product activities.
The overall purpose of my role is to deliver highly engaging web experiences that attract growing and engaged online audiences, driving higher revenues and enhancing public perceptions of the brands.
I develop scaleable, standards based, product and platform features that increase quality and customer engagement. I am the key point of contact for the business on day-to-day issues relating to the interactive products and platforms.

• When required, hold the role of ‘Product Owner’ within the development team structure

I am the Global Producer for Animal Planet online. This involves producing interactive projects for Animal Planet and managing distribution of website content to our Global partners (Asia, EMEA and Latin America).
A substantial part of this role is producing creative projects that will enhance the user experience and ensure website traffic growth, loyalty and retention.
Site content ranges from commissioned articles, to fully immersive games and interactive experiences. Some of this content is created in conjunction with external agencies and writers while others are produced with in-house teams.
I also manage an Assistant Producer who is responsible for updating the highlights section of the site as well as inputting to larger projects. While working on these large projects, I also have managed extra freelance staff in order to maintain the resource levels required.
