Snowboarding has been a part of my (winter) life for nearly 12 years. I've gone from being afraid of sliding down the smallest hill, to being very comfortable in instructing 50+ ski and snowboard instructors on the basics of how to teach anything.
I've been interested and involved in media and broadcasting and electronic mediums for as long as I can remember. In Fourth and Fifth grade, my friends and I were the first students to ever set-up a website for our class, and it went from there.
I would like to incorporate my deep interests in the global community, especially French language and culture in any future job I might hold. Working with a traveling documentary crew is something that really interests me.
Also, the world of independent music, especially that in the world of hip-hop and rap music, is something that I am very passionate about. While the wildly-popular artists emblazoned all over the media today are churning out music with hardly any emotion or valuable messages, I choose to listen and promote music that makes me want to get up and make a difference in myself or the world.
Editing Video and Audio with: Final Cut Pro Studio, Avid, Sony Vegas, Adobe Audition, Sony Acid/Sound Forge, Producing, Camera work, Directing, Photo or graphic creation and manipulation with Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator.
Proficient using Windows XP, Vista, and 7, Mac 8.6+ and OSX, and all variations of Ubuntu Linux.
French > English (and vice versa) translation is something I'm working on. Culture and social studies. Anything to do with French (literature, audio, text).
