Leen Van Sand’s Summary
Research, evaluate, establish and maintain relationships with members, public officials and journalists. I implement communication activities, strategies and tools such as press conferences, website contents, press releases, newsflashes and press activities. I take an active part in policy meetings and conferences, both internally and externally with the aim of further developing and supporting our sector. I also take part in the Sectoral Social Dialogue meetings with the European Commission and UNI-Europa to strive for European harmonisation in the private security industry. Both BVBO, at national level, and CoESS, at European level, carry out researches, questionnaires and consultations on a regular basis in order to defend the interests of their members and to present the public with an accurate view of the sector.
