During that year, I consulted as acting VP of Product Development for Morphormics, Inc., a startup spin-off of the Medical Image Display and Analysis group at University of North Carolina. Morphormics is developing new technology for automatic segmentation of organs from CT scans to be used in radiation treatment planning.
