Eileen is a seasoned manager with 13 years of experience working in Asian, Anglo-American and European business cultures.
She began her career as a consultant with global perception management firm, Burson-Marsteller, successfully implementing B-to-B and B-to-C marketing, PR and crisis pre-emption campaigns and managing a portfolio of tier one clients like Procter & Gamble, Accenture, AT&T, Colgate-Palmolive and Malaysian public sector projects.
As Asia's high-tech boom demanded cross-border marketing and management profiles, Eileen joined global CAD/CAM software vendor, Parametric Technology, to drive the ASEAN partnership marketing programs with Hewlett-Packard (including Compaq and Digital before the merge) and Sun Microsystems. Then, she was recruited by Alcatel's APAC office to head up regional marketing and PR, followed by a stint with Alcatel's global carrier services offices after moving to Paris.
Prior to Cisco, Eileen worked independently as an international marketing consultant for French SMEs after helping to re-haul the marketing infrastructure for 6WIND's new software business ramp-up in East Asia.
Eileen has a Master's degree in Diplomatic Studies, and a BA in Public Relations and Marketing. She is multilingual, embraces globalization and passionately believes new business models are needed for economic sustainability and social progress. She enjoys photography, travel, reading, movies and is interested to work and exchange on ideas and programs shaping the 21st century.
