Lee Kent, CEO and Chief Retail Authority of the company, has directed numerous consulting and strategic initiative engagements for retail over the past thirty years. Her work has ranged from IT practice assessments, Business Initiative Strategies, Market Opportunities, to technology delivery and implementation. Lee has served as the NA Retail Industry Practice Leader for a major global managed services provider, Retail Technology Consulting Principal for a Big 4 consulting firm, Director Supplier Management and Integration for an e-commerce start-up venture, Director of Managed Services for a major retail company and has brought her subject matter expertise to smaller organizations in order to help them build strong retail practices. Lee has now blended her consulting expertise with social media through TheRetailTradeCenter in order to bring the new media tools of collaboration and communication to Retail.
Lee has worked with clients in all aspects of retail from world-renowned retailers to software providers and start-ups. It is through these many years working with some of retail’s ‘best in class’ including The Home Depot, Lowes, Federated Department Stores, Bose Corp and through partnership with many known retail ‘insiders’, she has gained a great depth and breadth of understanding in the retail industry. She is well versed in retail ‘top of mind’ issues especially focused at the store level.
