I have been trying to figure out how to break down the barriers that exist between organizational groups since my first job, as an engineer. Every step along my career path I have observed:
*Failure to communicate is a leading cause of inefficiency and ineffectiveness;
*The need to hoard information and not share is a barrier to innovation.

Only in the last few years have I accumulated the experience and developed the knowledge to begin to address these organizational issues. Combining what I have learned in the areas of Organization Development, Project Management, and Information Technology, I have developed an understanding of how to create a collaborative organization.

I am currently looking for a position where I can use my knowledge and experience to help an organization improve its operations by improving its collaboration capabilities.

My target positions are:

I am looking for opportunities that do not require relocation, so that means I am looking for companies with offices in the Raleigh/Durham area; or companies that will allow me to work virtually from my home office. I am willing to travel up to 30%.
