I am a JAD Facilitator who adds value in Agile (SCRUM), Waterfall, and mixed environments. For over two decades, I have applied IBM’s JAD / RAD (Joint Application Development / Rapid Application Development) methods, based on the James Martin modeling methods. In my JAD Sessions, I lead stakeholders in developing and validating Business Process Analysis (BPA) flowcharts, using only eight (8) clear and simple symbols. By design, this simple BPA notation system is a proper subset of ver. 2 BPMN (Business Process Model Notation).

TEKsystems client AT&T / Bell South
August 2007 – October 2007 (3 months) Downtown Atlanta, GA
Project Managed concurrent Bell South Data Warehouse and Business Intelligence workflow projects, while the AT&T / Bell South merger and office relocation was underway. The data warehouse production environment used dimensional data architecture (star scheme). Data warehouse services were executed on a Teradata Corp. platform. Extract, Transform, and Load (ETL) services from the production entity-relationship database (ERD) systems, to the Teradata system were automated by Connect:Direct (C:D) scripts. The focus of my projects was business process workflow documentation and analysis of these C:D scripts, as there was no script library, the ETL systems were undocumented, and script design and testing were not developed under either project management or version control.
I provided project scheduling and status reports using Microsoft Project operating in a MOSS (Microsoft Office SharePoint Services) system. During this period, due to the merger, the corporate data use taxonomy for the MOSS environment changed several times.
