After majoring in Math and Computer Science at SUNY StonyBrook, Lee started work at Chyron, working with C# on broadcast graphics software. At Chyron, Lee was introduced to best practices in software development, as well as the domain knowledge surrounding broadcast operations.
In 2006, Lee moved to Oxygen Media. He worked on Oxygen's revenue reporting software, introducing him to the financial side of a cable network. Work also included C# 3.0 / WPF on Ript, Oxygens consumer facing software.
Oxygen's software development team worked in an Agile fashion, and Lee was a natural fit for the environment. Scrum, TDD, and especially pair-programming were all attractive ways to work, and Lee has become very comfortable with all of them.
Lee now works at a web company doing full time Ruby on Rails development in an all-agile environment.
