Leah D'Emilio’s Summary
Over the last 5 years, I have been working as a host, producer, and writer in the field of entertainment/broadcasting. From local news stations to online media, I have used my communication skills to draw in and maintain audiences on a variety of subject matter. My experience goes beyond just being "the host" to producing, researching, writing, and marketing the content I talk about on camera. Most recently, I hosted and produced over 150 episodes for the online variety show, Mahalo Daily. Our audience quadrupled in the 8 months I was with the show, with views averaging 2 - 3 million per month--triple of what they were previous to my employment. In addition to producing online content, I have also produced for cable television. As the original host/producer for BCSN's The Light Side, I produced over 50 episodes in 5 months and am pleased to say that the show is currently still on the air with growing popularity.
My goals are to continue working in the entertainment industry as a host/actor/producer/writer.
