A seasoned Web Producer with over 10 years of experience in production, editing, newsletter development, ad delivery and search engine optimization.
Laurie has been online since she got her first modem in '94 and hasn't looked back since. From the days of BBS, Laurie has had a constant web presence. During the 90s she was an active newsgroup participant, maintaining a number of personal & newsgroup related web sites, doing biz with people all over the world.
In '98, she joined what was then the McGraw-Hill Construction Information Group and took over production of ArchitecturalRecord.com, ENR.com, Design-Build.com, as well as Construction.com and the sites for the McGraw-Hill Construction Regional publications. Eventually, the sites grew & MyHouse was added as well as GreenSource.com.
Today, Laurie primarily works on ArchitecturalRecord.com which won a Jesse H. Neal Award for Best Web Site as well as being named to BtoB Media Business Magazine's list of 10 Great Media Web Sites.
In addition, Laurie has also pursued her love of photography primarily concentrating on professional sports and events. Her photos have been featured in Engineering News-Record, Design-Build Magazine, ArchitecturalRecord.com, Construction.com, as well as a number of basketball related sites.
Laurie believes in giving back to the community & has volunteered her photography, web skills, voice, & time whenever she can. If you are a non-profit organization based in Manhattan & are looking for an event photographer, Laurie will consider your request.
