Laurence Borel’s Summary

I've had a bit of a mixed career, having originally studied modern languages in France followed by a second degree in Marketing in the UK.

I spent the first 3 years of my career working as a Qualitative Researcher for global Market Research giant GfK NOP in both the healthcare and consumer sectors, and joined boutique qualitative agency Spring Research in 2007.

As a self-confessed social media junkie addicted to all things digital, I joined 1000heads as a Social Media Strategist in 2008.

As the agency's 'social media expert', my role involved being on top of trends, having an excellent knowledge of social media patterns, usage and trends across territories to develop global WOM campaigns.

Since the end of my contract at 1000heads, I've been working as a Freelance Digital PR Account manager where I am in charge of leading the execution of social media marketing strategies & campaigns for major brands.
