Laura Macias has a lifetime of private industry and public service in the Western US. She was born in Arizona, educated in Colorado and worked most of her life in Northern California. Laura believes in the collaborative value of both private industry and the public sector. She has worked in Silicon Valley since 1983 in high-tech positions in management, marketing and solutions, working for stalwart Silicon Valley companies.
