What do I do?
I am the CEO and co-founder of the leading Digital Word of Mouth Marketing agency, Fanscape. Fanscape specializes in reaching and activating consumers to foster targeted and engaging marketing through online and emerging media. We have in-depth understanding of niche audiences and consumer behaviors across the Web, and provide highly measurable, earned media strategies for major corporations and leading entertainment, technology, and mobile companies. The number one way people hear about or try something is through Word of Mouth. We fuel Word of Mouth conversations and ultimately drive action or sales.
We are currently celebrating our 11th year in business and have been doing digital WOM marketing longer than anyone else. We pride ourselves in our ethical, transparent, and positive messaging on behalf of our clients which include MTV, Samsung, Vans, Honda, M&M’s, A&E, POM Wonderful, and AT&T.
What did I do before?
Prior to founding Fanscape, I spent 8 years as VP, Artist Development and A&R for A&M Records. I helped launch and participate in the careers of artists such as Sheryl Crow, Gin Blossoms, Blues Traveler, Soundgarden, Sting, and, MxPx. I oversaw am amazing staff and a multi-million dollar annual touring and recording budget for all the label's artists.
Additionally, for nearly 25 years I managed and helped guide the careers of numerous musicians including Korn, The Offspring, Social Distortion, and Taking Back Sunday.
I was born an entrepreneur and started a food service business at 14, promoted my first concert at 15 and created a merchandise company at 18. I attended the University of California in San Diego where I majored in Economics and Literature and booked concerts for 4 years.
