Lorenzo Franco, in art "Larry", starts to study piano at 6 years old. In 1990 he began his carrier of Crooner in the Jazz Sudio Orchestra from Bari. He Moved to Los Angels and lived there for two years in 1994 and 1995. Performed as crooner of the Italian Big Band of Marco Renzi at the National Radio Network "Stasera a Via Asiago" conducted by Adriano Mazzoletti (Rai Stereo Due). In 1998 he met Nicola Arigliano (a well know Italian Crooner), and cooperate with him for one year. Recorded his first album "Nuttin' But Nat" dedicated to Nat King Cole with Franco Cerri and Fabrizio Bosso. He toured all the world performing in several International Jazz Festivals (Manly International Sydney, Java Jazz International Jakarta, Dubai and Abu Dhabi International Jazz Festival, Europafest Bucharest, European Izmir Jazz Festival Turkey, Kala Ghoda Art festival Bombay, Umbria Jazz Ischia section and Orvieto, Terni Jazz).
In 2006 performed for "Sinatra Days" by the Verona Philarmonic Theatre. In 2008 November 16th he has been invited to sing “Sinatra” repertoire at the Auditorium "A.Toscanini" in Turin with the Italian National Television "Rai" Symphonic Orchestra conducted by Giancarlo Gazzani, sharing the stage and singing with Ray Gelato and Emma Re.
Larry is the Crooner winner of the ITALIAN JAZZ AWARDS as "BEST JAZZ SINGER 2008".
