Ernest Landante Jr’s Summary
For more than 20 years, Ernest Landante, Jr. has successfully represented elected leaders in New Jersey and consulted executives of major U.S. corporations. He directed public communications for New Jersey Assembly Speaker Chuck Hardwick, Assemblyman Rodney P. Frelinghuysen, Assemblyman Jack Penn and State Senator William Gormley.
Mr. Landante subsequently directed government relations and communications for the New Jersey Savings League (now the New Jersey League of Community Bankers). He then headed the communications department at New Jersey Network (NJN) - the state-financed public broadcasting system - and later directed operations for its nightly newscast.
As a public relations consultant and partner in one of New Jersey’s largest agencies, Mr. Landante spearheaded PR efforts for Allstate Insurance Company, American Blood Resources Association, The Cancer Institute of New Jersey, Coalition for Auto Insurance Competition, CSX Corporation, Keep New Jersey Moving, Lead Litigation Group, Lloyds of London, Mideast News Service, New Jersey Coalition of Automotive Retailers, New Jersey Laborers’-Employers’ Cooperation and Education Trust, New Jersey Society of Optometric Physicians, Passaic Valley Water Commission, Rahway Hospital, Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital, Rx4NJ, Westfield Corporation and others.
Mr. Landante’s public relations and issue communications work has earned prestigious awards from the International Public Relations Association, American Association of Political Consultants, International Association of Business Communicators, Jersey Shore Public Relations and Advertising Association, Public Relations Society of America (New York and New Jersey Chapters) and PR News.
