Lance Livingston is an Engineer Lead/Application Development Manager for JPMorgan Chase & Co (JPMC). He leads an application team that is responsible for the regulatory compliance systems involving electronic communication for Retail broker dealers and the registered members of FINRA. This involves the capture and retention of email with Computer Associates’ (CA) Message Manager application. His team develops and supports custom development for regulatory compliance, supervision, and governance of electronic communication.

With over 10 years experience in regulatory compliance, supervision, governance and data retention of electronic communications, Lance has raised the bar in e-mail surveillance and data retention by defying the industry norm of uncontrolled growth by architecting designs that reduce the network and storage foot prints while volumes have continued to grow. Before coming to JPMC, he was a Director of Customer Support for iLumin Corporation where he managed to develop a team of expert engineers in remote support of enterprise applications.

As an advocate for information sharing, Lance serves as a member of CA’s Product Advisory Council, a board member for CA’s Information Governance Product Line Community and JPMC’s Retail Engineer Board and has recently been nominated for JPMC’s Expert Engineer Program. Lance also serves as BPDA’s Vice President of Member Services for the Columbus Chapter.
