Connecting People. Creating Commerce!
Louisville, Kentucky Area
Louisville-bred and southern Indiana educated (graduate of IU), Kyle Morey, Owner of the FootPrint Network, is currently assisting small business owners, business associations, non profits, and chambers of commerce be seen, heard, and famous through idea generation, project management, non dues revenue, entrepreneurial programs, event programming, lead generation, mission statement planning, marketing and economic gardening.
Kyle’s career path began as a part owner and director of business development with a high profile start up called LeapFrog Interactive. Armed with business cards and a quick smile, Kyle built a platform of business opportunities, mergers & acquisitions, and a solid network of alliances placing LeapFrog as the premier web design firm in the region.
Kyle went on to labor for four years as VP of Programs & Services at the Scottsdale Area Chamber of Commerce in Arizona. Known in Scottsdale as Mr. Microphone, Kyle would command an audience and motivate people to action – whether members, volunteers or salespeople. Under his leadership, the Scottsdale Chamber achieved its highest membership gains in their 60-year history – more than 600 new members in a single year!
Upon return to his hometown, Kyle merged with One Southern Indiana in June of 2007 and quickly went to work implementing what he calls his three-pronged strategy to profit: the right PEOPLE, define your PROCESSES, and develop your PROFIT PLAN. Thanks to his tactic and the efforts of his team, One Southern Indiana broke all-time records in new member acquisitions, retention, and non dues revenue including the most new members in a year’s time (400 in one year), the most in sponsorships and advertising sales, and the highest retention level in 20 years.
Kyle Morey welcomes opportunities to serve in executive leadership positions for chambers of commerce. As Kyle puts it, “the best is yet to come!”

At an early age, I entered the workforce through the Leadership program offered at the YMCA Southeast Louisville (6 mile lane) under the direction of the then Executive Director Theresa McCauley. Empowered with her mentoring, I grew into several positions such as a Day Camp Counselor for summer kids camps, lifeguard, swim instructor, water aerobics instructor...I even cleaned the building early in the mornings. It is here that I learned a good work ethic, found a work mentor, and built a platform for the rest of my sojourn in the business world.
