Character Animator (freelance)
Greater New York City Area
I have been freelancing in the New York City area for about three years. My past jobs include working on "One Rat Short", which won Best of Show at SIGGRAPH 2006, Coke "Happiness Factory" and "Happiness Factory: The Movie" at Psyop, Geico Gecko commercials (2007, 2008) at Framestore NY, "Horton Hears a Who!" at Blue Sky Studios (2008), and "Ice Age 3: Dawn of the Dinosaurs" (2009).
During every project over the past three years, I've gained a wealth of experience from which I am able to continually improve my skills. From the naturalistic creature animation of "One Rat Short" and the subtle acting of the Geico Gecko, to the cartoony worlds of the Happiness Factory and Horton Hears a Who, I've been able to flex my animation abilities in various contrasting styles. I've also learned a great deal about working in both the realm of advertising/post-production, and feature animation, and been able to see the different and similar goals that both strive to attain.
