My work on a Master's in Information Technology at Capella University concluded on June 10, 2008, with graduation on August 28, 2008. The knowledge gained from the program will help me to expand my instruction to adult learners in additional directions. Being able to combine my background and learning in web design, graphics, information architecture, online learning, and IT will help to expand my knowledge, as well as give the people in my classes a broader exposure to the knowledge that matters.
I am also pursuing certifications from macromedia/Adobe, as well as CIW to add to the qualifications that I can offer to businesses as a trainer and instructor. By combining theory and practice, I plan to market my services to more people and businesses, and at a more advanced level.
These approaches will enhance my work as a software trainer for adults in web design, graphic design, and online learning, as the field of teaching in the IT world moves in new directions.
