•Client Design Engineer Project Manager for Global Image. Managed a team of 25 Software Developers and Code Engineers. During each quarter managed the design of a new updated OS image. This image addressed current defects, software patches, and new hardware. Testing the image against a matrix of known current defects and once deployed supporting 58 different hardware models within the Energy, Aviation, Transportation, and Oil and Gas global divisions of GE.
•Project Manager for Client Design Global Acquisitions Team (EMEA, ASPAC, and the Americas), was responsible for the gathering of software applications, and licensing/ECCN tracking for newly acquired companies within GE. Worked with newly acquired companies’ technology departments to ensure their software requirements could merge into current GE software and hardware standards. Using project management tools, created timelines and Gantt charts to track due dates, meetings, the testing of software /hardware, and complete mile stones. Held weekly meeting with each new acquisition to review the requirements and its current status. Tracked issues and what steps needed to be taken to solve them allowing the projects to keep on time and on budget.

•Designed and Supported Cisco VOIP Call Manager 4.2/Unity Express. Designed and provided corporate training for 50 end users. The end user training covered the functions of the Cisco IP phone 7960, 7940, and Unity Express voice mail.

•Used Replay Server, Microsoft Storage Server, and Remote NAS, developed a two layer Disaster Plan ensuring “Real Time Backup” of AD, DHCP, DNS, Exchange, Microsoft CRM, & SharePoint.
• Upgraded Windows SharePoint Services 2.0 to WSS3.0/MOSS 2007. This project entailed the designing of the corporate intranet and client portal.
•3Com WIFI deployed throughout the company campus to allow client guest internet access.
• Designed and implemented a Helpdesk system via SharePoint with workflows and InfoPath. By using workflow templates and email, this allowed end users to open and request help for hardware or software problems. The end user could then update and track the status of the Helpdesk ticket throughout its life cycle. With the creation of the Helpdesk system, management was able to track hardware and software issues more effectively to make needed changes for end users. When the client used SharePoint to create the Helpdesk solution, it allowed the company to reuse existing infrastructure and not spend new capital.
•Deployed BES 4.2 giving real time sync and “true mobile office” connectivity to the corporate remote work force.
•Designed and supported Microsoft Dynamics CRM and Mobile CRM via Blackberry’s. Provided training to corporate sales team. The end user training showed each sales manager how to access and update Mobile CRM. This gave each Sales Manager and Company Director instant real time Client data and sales KPI’s.
