User Experience Strategist
Tampa/St. Petersburg, Florida Area
Ken Whaler is a User Experience Strategist for Triad Digital Media, a Tampa-based agency that manages and operates online media programs for leading retailer and ecommerce websites such as Walmart, Sams, Dell, Netshops and Best Buy.
10 years ago I started working as a graphic designer and photographer. Doing so, I started building skills for composition, content organization and design. After that, I was hired by an award winning ad agency in Naples, Florida. There, I learned how to deal with photo shoots, art direction as well as design project management.
Tired of the limitations of print, I discovered the internet and started learning web design and focused on web standards and usability. It's been almost a decade that I have worked for various internet projects involving complex web applications, information architecture and usability.
As a Ux Strategist I dedicate my time to learning new technology, discovering trends and aligning user goals with business goals.
When I am not hard at work, you will find me enjoying microbrews, growing hot peppers and playing my bass guitar.
