Kurt Uhlir’s Summary

Kurt also serves as the VP of Marketing and Strategy with Better Living Products. He is a regular commentator on the fixed and mobile gaming industries, with a particular focus on Location Based Games and Pervasive Games, and has consulted on a number of business development opportunities in Location Based Services, Location Based Games, security tracking and other industries. Kurt has been published at, interviewed for and/or quoted in many publications such as 3D World Magazine, Mobile Games Analyst, Wireless World Forum, IGDA, TheFeature, Gamasutra, GameDaily Biz, GameDev.Net and others.
Prior to 2000, Kurt worked on private company valuation, portfolio management and business case development at firms such as Financial Economics Consulting Group, Better Living Products, and Compass Bank. He also led several design projects related to high-bandwidth data transmission. Kurt studied biomedical and electrical engineering at Vanderbilt University before moving on to the University of Alabama, where he received a MS in Corporate Financial Strategy.
