Grew the company from a dorm room prototype for seed funding, to a consumer product used by 10s of millions of users, and a business model generating revenue from 10,000+ retailers.

-------------------

About TheFind:

Online retail is 200 billion dollar business, yet its just 7% of total retail.

TheFind's goal is to build a product focussed on all aspects of the shopping process like comprehensive product selection, price comparison, deals & coupons, product reviews, shopping at local stores, shopping based on your personal preferences etc. We bring you shopping applications on all platforms - desktop, tablet & mobile.

BITSAA Int.

BITSConnect 2.0 Project Chair

BITSAA Int.
(2 years 3 months)

Architecting the 21st century education infrastructure in BITS Pilani (the #1 private university in India with 4 campuses)

BITSConnect 2.0 (http://bitsconnect20.bitsaa.org) is a $5.2MM project that interconnects all campuses via telepresence to enable the next level of teaching and collaborative research. Nothing of this scale has been done in India before. It is a showcase of how technology can re-invent the process of education in countries like India with a severe shortage of research & teaching faculty.

Co-Founder & President

BITSEmbryo
(6 years)

Embryo (http://embryo.bits-pilani.ac.in) is a project to foster strong collaboration of BITS students & faculty with the alumni & friends of BITS Pilani. We've conducted 100s of lectures from all over the world via video conferencing.

Through lecture series and collaborative projects, the students can get exposure to the cutting edge research areas. They also get an opportunity to network with alumni & friends of BITS, who are reputed academicians and industry leaders.

Led this project from idea generation to evangelizing & building an executive team. Set up a club of 50+ people on-campus, and successfully transitioned the project to an auto-pilot mode by setting up a process for succession planning.
