  I originally wanted to be a 2D animator but when the Academy decided to switch their focus to computer animation I had to reconsider my major. I switched to New Media because I was already using Flash and getting paid as a contractor for web development. I learned every web skill from XHTML / CSS with PHP to Actionscript with object oriented design patterns while still honing my Design and drawing skills. What I took away was the ability to put all of my skills together by blending motion graphics in video and web with music production and my knack for coding interactive experiences.
