I LOVE what I do here at MLOA as a residential loan officer! I have found a new calling to combine customer contact and relationship building with my desire for analytical skills and consulting with my customers for them to learn about the house buying process and getting the best deal for themselves.
(Consumer Services industry)
2002 — 2008 (6 years )
We rented chocolate fountains and made gourmet chocolate goodies... This company allowed me to spread my wings and give entrepreneurialism a real shot. I'm so grateful to the 6 years full of blessings this company and the awesome chocolate community gave to me!
FYI - in case you haven't heard the news, Chocolate Legacy is closing effective 8/31/08.

I was given the opportunity of a lifetime at this company! I am so sad to see the organization depart as it did... but... like Garth Brooks always says, if I would have known how it all would have ended, I wouldn't have elected to be a part of the dance! Better to have been a part of the experience than to have avoided the pain all together!
I made many wonderful friends and very smart & intelligent colleagues at Aquila!
Ed Mills gave me the chance of a lifetime to start a world-class college recruiting program with some of the finest universities in the country. With a power house like Aquila backing you up, that was nothing but fast and furious FUN!
I ended my career there (just prior to Black Monday on 6/17/02) as an Operations Rep on the Natural Gas side of the trading floor... intending to learn the natural gas biz, then transfer those skills to a long-term deal originator. I guess now I have just taken my passion as a deal junkie in another direction!
Bachelor of Science , 1986 — 1990
I lived in Larch (the co-ed floor - Greene) my freshman year, then in Maple (Friant) my sophomore & junior years. I moved off campus my senior year.
