Kristine Hunt’s Summary

I am a freelance copy editor and proofreader, currently specializing in nonfiction book editing.

I bring to the editing experience a breadth of experience and knowledge. I have studied numerous foreign languages, and so I have a good feel for when translated terms may not be quite what was meant. In college I studied a wide range of topics: medieval literature, calculus, epistemology, chemistry, Italian literature, and more.

In editing numerous contributed volumes as well as monographs, I have developed the skill of retaining the author's voice while ensuring consistency throughout. I generally keep to a light editorial touch.
