She's quite happy to report that Ashleigh Banfield (one of her reporter/anchor idols) is indeed one of her 3rd degree connections on the site. Prior to LinkedIn, Krista was with the Horn Group for three years and focused on PR results, client service/counsel, PR program management, managing results from junior staff and business development. She has worked with a number of software companies during her career including BlueRoads, Inovis, Omniture, Qlusters, RightNow Technologies, Riverbed, Taleo, TalkPlus, Transera and Virsa Systems. She secured two USA Today feature stories for two different clients (Vontu and RightNow Technologies) and landed Virsa Systems’ CEO and founder, Jasvir Gill, on AlwaysOn’s 2006 “Fast 20 CEOs” list. Previously, Krista worked as a television news reporter for NBC affiliate KDLT in Sioux Falls, South Dakota where she covered and reported live on daily news including everything from Senate Minority Leader Tom Daschle’s campaign for re-election against former Representative John Thune, tornadoes, police chases, fires, feature pieces and even former Congressman Bill Janklow's manslaughter trial (which was picked up by CNN).

Krista also covered the local TV news at WSTM, another NBC affiliate, in Syracuse, New York.

Prior to that, Krista served as an on-air radio personality and News Director for WJPZ FM/Z89.1 in Syracuse.

She earned her B.S. with a dual major in both Broadcast Journalism and Finance from Syracuse University.
