Kramer Durable Medical Equipment specializes in dispensing nPAP equipment to patients that have been diagnosed with any type of sleep-related breathing disorders - including snoring and sleep apnea.
Kramer DME demonstrates a committment to quality sleep-related care by offering a thorough set-up process for treatment that is specially designed for each individual patient. Throughout this process, Registered Polysomnographic Technologist or Sleep Equipment Specialist act as resources and guides in patient care.
During set-up we:
~ Educate patient on Sleep Disordered Breathing.
~ Review sleep study results with patient.
~ Instruct patient on use and care of prescribed equipment.
~ Custom fit a mask for each individual.
~ Answer patient questions.
Once the set-up process is complete, patient follow up calls are made on an ongoing basis to answer patient questions, assess patient equipment and provide reminders regarding equipment care.
Kramer DME serves the following counties and surrounding areas: Cook, DeKalb, DuPage, Grundy, Kane, Kankakee, Kendall, LaSalle, and Will. We are also available for emergency coverage 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Please visit us on the Web for more information.
Educational Support Group meetings for CPAP/Bilevel users are available through Kramer DME. Join us for better CPAP/Bi-level compliance and understanding of your sleep disordered breathing. Check out our calendar for more information!
Patients are seen by a Registered Polysomnographic Technologist, or Sleep Equipment Specialist when set up with the nPAP equipment. The results of their sleep study are gone over with them. The instruction of the use and care of the machine and mask as well as all patient questions are answered.
We pride ourselves on educating not only ourselves, but our patients on Sleep Apnea and Sleep Disordered Breathing. Our set up process is very thorough. we don't just hand you a machine to take home with no instruction or follow up care.
