Career Synopsis: Career began in 1985 in one of the first high tech manufacturing ventures in the Midwest making sputtered media for Hard Disk Drives. Later I moved to Silicon Valley and held several positions in advanced/clean-room manufacturing for both large manufacturers and two start ups. I then took an overseas assignment in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia running NPI/Factory expansion for Western Digital and following that went to work for Samsung in a similar role and spent a good amount of time in Korea. I then went to work for Microsoft on the Xbox, when I joined the hardware development team there were only eleven people and that business has since grown to a multi-billion dollar platform which has leveraged heavily from the Strategic Sourcing organization my team established there. Following that, I couldn’t resist the challenge of another start-up, especially in China during this period of incredible growth, so I took a take a chance with Cornice where I was employed overseeing our contract manufacturing partner making micro-hard disk drives for MP3’s, mobile phones and other CE applications. I am now at Foxconn, one of the fastest growing EMS Solutions providers in the world and am responsible for computer systems manufacturing , supply chain, quality as well as some business development activities. I hold a BS degree in Business Administration / Production & Operations Management, from Cal State University, Hayward
