My passion for writing led me to the creative field. With a bachelor's in Journalism from San Jose State University, I honed my communication and editing skills. While in school, I excelled at internships with Adobe Systems (in their employee communications department), and with San Jose Magazine as an editorial assistant — all in addition to freelancing for multiple publications.

Following graduation, I entered the marketing field as marketing coordinator for the Oya Group. My first post-college job, I took on both administrative responsibilities and client/project management duties. It was a great learning experience as I wore many different hats, and picked up valuable information about the industry.

After a year with Oya, I was offered a position with Ogilvy & Mather, one of the largest and most well-known agencies in the business. I look forward to growing with such an influential company and continuing to enhance my knowledge of the marketing/advertising industry.
