I've been teaching photojournalism for nearly 30 years, have written the leading photojournalism textbook, "Photojournalism: The Professionals' Approach," and co-authored the 7th and 8th editions of "Photography," the leading basic photography textbook.
Last year, my wife, Betsy Brill, and I launched my invention -- a device that instantly improves photos taken with the pop-up flash in 35mm SLR Nikon, Canon, and Pentax cameras. It allows photographers to bounce the light from the flash for more natural-looking photos. After all, I HATE looking at UGLY flash pictures. It's cleverly called "Professor Kobré's Lightscoop" and is being sold on the Internet at http://www.lightscoop.com and with our new exclusive online resale partner, Adorama.com: http://www.adorama.com/FALSUS.html.
More recently, I have been developing a guide to the most moving multimedia and video stories on the Web. More on that soon...
Natural-looking flash photography, candid photojournalism, effective and creative photography education, photo editing, digital video documentaries, multimedia storytelling.
