Karol Nowak’s Summary

I'm mainly a C++/Python/Java programmer with systems administration experience and a FLOSS enthusiast/contributor.

My programming languages of choice are C/C++, Python and Java and their "ecosystems", but I have a limited knowledge of PHP as well. I've worked on various types of projects, including networking, GUI and web-oriented.

On the systems administration from my knowledge covers common Unix environments (GNU/Linux, FreeBSD and Solaris 8).

My involvement in FLOSS includes contributions to the "Battle for Wesnoth" project, a Summer of Code 2007 project and Google Highly Open Participation Project mentoring tasks for MoinMoin Wiki and other minor developments.
