I have about 12 years experience developing web applications for a diverse range of clients including BBC, Channel 4, WWF, Jamie Oliver, the Art Gallery of New South Wales, Alexander McQueen, Yahoo! UK and Orange UK.
I am an enthusiastic technology evangelist and a proponent of the importance of user (human) experience in all facets of life. I consider myself a technical craftsperson and I am a great believer in the potential of people to do amazing things given the right tools, good information and productive partnerships.
Recently my professional focus has been on developing with Ruby and I have developed a number of large scale applications using 'Rails' for Channel 4, Orange, Charlotte Church, Camron UK and others.
I am also currently developing custom mobile applications for the iPhone and iPod Touch.

Re-developed the WWF Australia website into a more flexible online plartform. I was responsible for the design and development of its web standards compliant (XHTML/CSS/PHP/MySQL)
website. The website also featured a number of
Flash interactive pieces that I designed and developed that were aimed at educating visitors about complex environment subjects like turtle conservation and marine debris.
I then became Online Manger which was a more strategic role, aimed at building online capacity in other parts of WWF.
