As Executive Vice President and General Manager, Kevin McDonald is responsible for leading Inforte's SAP Practice. A recognized authority in business intelligence, he built the teams that led numerous successful multi-million dollar strategy and business intelligence engagements for Global 1000 companies, including NASA, Cadbury-Schweppes and Volkswagen Financial Services AG.

Kevin is the co-author of Mastering the SAP Business Information Warehouse, a book that illustrates the options available in SAP BW and helps companies explore new ways to drive business performance. He also has authored numerous articles about the SAP Business Intelligence Solution for The Data Warehouse Institute, and has presented on business intelligence issues at various industry trade shows and conferences, including DCI's Data Warehouse World, HP World, ERP World, TDWI conferences, ASUG, SAP TechEd, Informix User Conference, Decision Processing 1999 and 2000, and Informatica World.

Prior to joining Inforte, he was co-founder and CEO of COMPENDIT, Inc., a consulting services firm that was acquired by Inforte in March, 2004. Under his leadership, privately held COMPENDIT has achieved significant revenue growth each year since its founding in 1999 and was named to Entrepreneur magazine's "Hot 100" list of America's fastest-growing new businesses. Kevin was a regional finalist for the 2003 Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year.

Before co-founding COMPENDIT in 1999, Kevin was the Director of New Dimension Technology and a Corporate Spokesperson for SAP. During his tenure at SAP, he was the Program Manager during the successful market launch of the SAP Business Information Warehouse (SAP BW) in the North American market and authored the SAP BW product map that was first used to define the scope and development direction for this software component.

Kevin graduated Magna Cum Laude from St. Joseph's College. He lives in Woodside, California.
