I’m a German graphic, web & interface designer. I work chiefly on the front-end and I’m passionate about good, functional UIs & accessibility. Otherwise I’m a rampant typophile.
I have worked in-house for a web development company based in the heart of Canberra City, Australia, for almost three years and have freelanced in the interim and now ever since.
I greatly enjoy attending conferences. I’m currently one of the core organisers of Canberra’s second BarCamp, an ad-hoc social web technologies conference after the great success of the first one. Other conferences you might see me attending include Linux.conf.au, the southern hemisphere’s largest FOSS & free culture conference, GUADEC, and any hip web-related conferences and BarCamps within the region.
In the coming year I intend to continue to expand my skills in both design – both web, desktop, and print – and web development.
I love coffee, hugs, and well set type.
Typography, open source design tools, CSS micro design, and accessibility and usability aware web development supported by open source frameworks.
