Klaus Holzapfel's Summary
As Managing Partner of conceptbakery USA, I am responsible for developing non-traditional marketing strategies for our clients in the United States.
I oversee the idea development process for our clients in the US and abroad, monitor trends, screen new technologies for their validity and write specs for our developers. Every day in my professional life is a little different and that's just perfectly fine with me.
Prior to conceptbakery’s inception, I worked for nearly a decade in the financial sector as a currency trader. During that time, I spent 6 years with Deutsche Bank in Luxembourg. I partnered with my brother, Felix, to found conceptbakery in 2002.
I am passionate about philanthropy and using cause marketing to make a difference. I started a non-profit named Ubuntu Now (ubuntunow.org). The organization supports programs to facilitate healing for victims of trauma and violence, create opportunities for the underprivileged and support other social causes providing stability to our world.

Using alternative marketing strategies, we specialize in developing custom solutions for our clients. conceptbakery is a one-stop shop combining creative potential and tailor-made marketing goodies with technical know-how.
Our work stretches from offline POS activities to interactive online environments, use and development of mobile applications and location based initiatives.
We are experts in setting up enhanced Facebook fan pages and are currently working on a book that will share our experience and know-how in this field.
Here is a brief snapshot of our activities:
• We initiate and participate in conversations about your brand, product or service.
• We build and manage communities covering multiple platforms and networks.
• We provide discussion material such as relevant news, trends and developments, as well as videos, sweepstakes, games and digital/mobile apps.
• We change the perception of brands in the public eye. We build relationships with people that care about a brand and that a brand should care about.
We work mostly for larger entities but also enjoy projects for SME's that are open-minded and would like to try something new & out of the box.
We work in two locations (Denver, Colorado and Cologne, Germany)
