I live an ethnographic life and am dedicated to the pursuit of new forms of working and workplaces as the world evolves through global flows of technology and immigration. I am particularly interested in diverse understandings of what constitutes 'good work' in everyday life. My current projects revolve around communication, health literacy and indigenous health; the uses of social media in community building and healthcare contexts, and postcolonial and diverse forms of organizing practices for humane workplaces.
My current professional goals are as follows:
- To construct, sustain and implement creative, care-full and culturally sensitive workplaces and work practices.
- To integrate my interests in post colonial forms of organizing and communicative practice, good work and communication in clinical contexts to focus on issues of concern in global health.
