Independentally developed and launched forums focused on Competitive Intelligence (World Trade Center, Portland, OR) and Lean Manufacturing (OSU, Corvallis, OR).

Long-time member of Northwest Art & Air Festival Executive Board. Named Oregon's Volunteer of the Year in 2003 by the Festivals and Events Association (and top 16 nominee worldwide). The NWAAF draws many hot air balloonists and thousands of visitors to the Willamette Valley every August (www.nwartandair.org).
