I have a Ph. D. in Derivatives (IGIDR Mumbai, June 2006), an MBA in Finance (IIM Bangalore, April 1991) and a degree in Mechanical
Engineering (IIT Mumbai, April 1989). I am presently employed with Infosys
Technologies Ltd. (June 2006 – ) and have earlier worked with National Commodity and
Derivatives Exchange (March 2004 – June 2006) and Securities and Exchange Board of
India (May 1996 – March 2004).

I have been working mainly in the field of derivatives, risk management, analytics and “quant” type of research in the financial services domain. Throughout my education and career, I have acquired strong analytical and communication skills, an ability to think and
generate ideas and problem solving skills. I have one international publication (MiFID Best Execution Benchmark, Journal of Trading, Summer 2007). I am keen on an occupation that is both challenging and diverse, utilises my skills and is a good fit between my education and experience.
