Paul has studied NLP (Neuro Linguistic Programming), and acquired Diplomas in personal and corporate coaching, working directly under Sir John Whitmore, .
Paul holds an honours degree in nuclear chemistry
He entered the music business in 1975 following 3 years of organising all the social events at Brunel University, whilst simultaneously studying for his degree.
Paul holds the record at Wembley Arena for the longest simultaneous run of concerts by any artist. Dire Straits played 14 nights, the first of which was performed in front of HRH the Princess of Wales and HRH Prince Charles in aid of The Princes Trust.
He was the first promoter to organise a live music show at Hampden Park, Scotland’s National Stadium. It featured Genesis and was in aid of The Save The Children Fund and was attended by The Princess Royal.
Artists and bands managed by Paul sold over 32 million records during the period of his direction
In 1986 Paul cycled from John O’Groats to Lands End in 15 days raising £20,000 for the Nordoff Robbins Music Therapy Charity.
In 1990 he co-promoted ‘Knebworth’ featuring Pink Floyd, Paul McCartney, Eric Clapton, Elton John, Dire Straits and Genesis raising a further £6 Million for the same charity.
His skills at enabling record labels and artists to communicate with each other are legendary.
Paul's experience of dealing extensively and sympathetically with a number of high profile artists and executives coupled with his recent training enable him to provide immense empathy and understanding when dealing with highly delicate personal issues.Noted for his sense of humour and straightforward manner, working in the personal development industry was an almost obvious progression.
